Hunting Packages

The large forest and the several bodies of water that we provide are the perfect playground for hunting enthusiast.

Whether you are looking for a bear, small game, or a moose, you will find that quality is what's important to us. Indeed, we accept a limited number of hunters in order to offer the best experience, year after year.

Our hunting territory extends over hundreds of miles of back and logging roads, and has a vast forest where we do our baits. 

The region features a large bear population and some of them can reach 250 to 400 lbs.

We strive to maintain this population through our management plan and by accepting only 6 to 10 hunters per week. 

By reducing the pressure, we ensure a great success rate, not mentioning the ones seen or missed.

Bear Hunting

  • ​​We welcome bow, crossbow and rifle hunters.

​​

  • We hunt over baited tree stands and ground blinds, which are 15 to 35 yards. That way, you have an excellent chance to take your bear.

​​

  • Bear hunting is offered at the Main Camp. 

This package includes: 

  • 1 week (Saturday to Saturday) in one of our cabin at the Main Lodge. 

  • 6 days hunt.

  • Transportation to baited areas.

  • Preparation and storage of your bear.

$1900 per person, per week

Fishing in Bonus

When booking for a group of 2 people staying in the same cabin, we will include a boat and a motor in your package

(gas and oil extra).

  • Taxes are not included. 

  • All prices are in Canadian currency. 

  • Dogs are allowed. Additional fee of $50 per dog.  

  • All our facilities are non-smoking.  

  • A Boat and Motor Rental agreement must be signed upon arrival.

    To reserve your stay, a deposit of $500 per person is required.
    Please note that the deposit is non-refundable* and can be paid by check, by credit card or by cash.

Small Game Hunting

The forest surrounding the Main Lodge is generously populated with small games. Conditions are perfect for a thrilling hunt in an enjoyable surrounding.

From the Main Lodge, you will have miles of forest roads to find hares, along with spruce and ruffed grouses.

Small game hunting is the perfect way to introduce youngsters to the sport. Come hunting and create family memories. 

 

Hunting only

  • 1 week (Saturday to Saturday) in one of our cabin at the Main Lodge.

Hunting & Fishing Combo

This package includes: 

  • 1 week (Saturday to Saturday) in one of our cabin at the Main Lodge. 

  • 14' aluminum boat and a 15 hp Honda motor per group of 2 people. 

$815 per person, per week

This majestic forest giant is very popular with hunters.

Our property is located in the heart of the boreal forest, which is an ideal environment to meet this animal. 

To ensure a healthy population in our area, we accept only a limited amount of hunters.

The hunting zone we are located in is zone 13 East.

Main Lodge

Berthelot and Maricourt lakes stretch over 45 miles, providing you an excellent hunting ground. Along with all the trails accessible from the Main Camp, you will have hundreds of miles to explore.  

To help you with your hunt, we will give you a bunch of tips that will allow you to concentrate your efforts in the right places.

This package includes: 

  • 1 week (Saturday to Saturday) in one of our cabin at the Main Lodge. 

  • 14' aluminum boat and a 15 hp Honda motor per group of 2 people. 

  • Game storage.

$1150 per person

This plan requires a minimum of 2 people. Groups of 3 will be in a 16’ boat. 

Additional boat and motor: $565 per week.

Outpost Camps

We will fly you into a remote lake where you will find miles of lakeshore, bays, rivers, marshes, and smaller back lakes to hunt. Since our lakes are usually   10 to 30 miles long, we will supply boats and motors do navigate these areas (one 14' boat per 2 people).

This package includes:

  • 1 week (Saturday to Saturday) in one of our outpost camps: Barry North, Barry South, Otter Lake, Megiscane South. 

  • Round trip airfare from Berthelot Lake Lodge. (Departures from Senneterre are also available. Please contact us for details.) 

  • 100 lbs of baggage per person. (Excess luggage will be flown in at an extra cost. Extra fee will also be charged if the weight still exceeds the limit upon departure.) 

  • 14' aluminum boat and a 15 hp Honda motor per group of 2 people. 

  • Unlimited gas

  • Ice to preserve the fish. 

  • One (1) mid-week camp check visit from the pilot. We can freeze your catch and store it at the lodge until your return.

  • Fly out of the game & storage facility.

$1800 per person (group of 4 people)
$2400 per person (group of 2 people)
